To say the craft show was a flop, is an understatement!!

It stunk!  I lost money being there.  It was $25.00 to have a 10x10 spot..... You guessed it, I didnt even make that money back.  So, I lost money.

Why didnt I sell more?

I honestly think the timing was bad.  Memorial weekend...tons of people are out of town.

2...it was advertised very well.  It was in a small town.  People came to the parade, then noticed a craft show.

It does make me feel  a bit better to know that most people didnt sell enough to make their enterance feel back.

How much did I make???  $18.16.  (LONG story about the $.16)

So, now I am going to finish up an order for 3 fairies, and list some of my animals on Etsy.

I am tossing around the idea of making a clown bear with balloons next.  We will see!

Kristen, I just love your website. I'm so sorry to hear about the craft show!! What a bummer. I'm sure you're right though about the Memorial Weekend thing. When we used to have tag sales on holiday weekends or Mother's or Father's day, they never work
out. I just love the toys you created. Will you be posting or selling the pattern for the little monkies any time soon? Please let me know when you do!! They are so adorable. Try another craft show, I'm sure you'll do better. But also remember,
it is summer now and the price of gas (especially here in CT eats up most of our paychecks) Today, June 14 Gas is $3.24 a
gallon for reg. unleaded!!! (and still climbing!!!

Kristen, I'm so sorry about the craft show. Don't feel too badly about it. I've done several craft shows and have not done well despite the nice things I make. It's just a poor economy and people are just looking and not spending right now. Your stuff is absolutely amazing. Truely the very best crochet animal collection ever. You should really think about doing a book. I think a ton of people would buy it. I shure would! I've made so many of your little animals to give to children and they are so cute and adorable. Keep up the wonderful work!
